Abstract
This study explores the impact of digital technology on Islamic education and scholarship at Sekolah Tinggi Pesantren Darunnaim in Kabupaten Lebak. The integration of digital tools in educational settings has revolutionized traditional teaching and learning methodologies, offering new opportunities and challenges for Islamic institutions. This research examines how digital technology has been adopted and utilized at Darunnaim, assessing its effects on both students and educators.
The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative interviews with educators and administrators, and quantitative surveys distributed to students. Findings indicate that digital technology has enhanced access to a wide range of Islamic resources, facilitated interactive learning, and improved administrative efficiency. However, challenges such as digital literacy, the digital divide, and maintaining the integrity of traditional Islamic teachings in a digital format are also highlighted.
Overall, the study concludes that while digital technology presents significant benefits for Islamic education and scholarship at Sekolah Tinggi Pesantren Darunnaim, a balanced approach that addresses potential drawbacks is essential for its effective implementation. The findings provide valuable insights for other Islamic educational institutions considering the integration of digital technologies in their pedagogical frameworks.
